Scope:

Bevel Tech Group, Inc was chosen to perform the counterboring of Steel Catenary Riser piping and Flowline piping for the Shell Gumusat KaKap Deep Water Project located in Kuantan, Malaysia. Pipe sizes included 8 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch, and 18 inch diameters.

Bevel Tech Group, Inc was awarded the winning bid to perform counterboring of over 4000 ends of deep-water steel catenary riser and Flowline piping. This was the first deep-water machining project in the Asia-Pacific region.

Bevel Tech Group, Inc completed over 4000 pipe ends with a ZERO % reject rate, ahead of schedule, and was recognized for its safety record and leadership while performing this project.

Scope:

Bevel Tech Group, Inc was chosen by Kiewit Corporation to engineer a dimensioning tool to measure the slotted areas in the cable stay bases that were not accessible with standard micrometers, and fabricate metal shims to facilitate the replacement of the suspension cables on the Destrehan - Luling Bridge Project.

Bevel Tech Group, Inc was able to pre-measure, design, and fabricate shims needed for the restoration project without impacting the main restoration project schedule. Final fitting, coating, and installation were performed by Bevel Tech Group, Inc to meet the targeted dates and deadlines established by Kiewit Corporation.

Scope:

Bevel Tech Group, Inc was responsible for the preservation of the new equipment being constructed on an offshore platform being delivered to Alaska. Lasting for about 1 year during construction, Bevel Tech Group, Inc maintained most of the platforms mechanical equipment in pristine condition per the manufacturer's warranty conditions and requirements.

Maintaining new equipment until commissioning and startup is critical in achieving a flawless startup.
