Bevel Tech Group was opened in 1998 as a pipe machining, specialty company with heavy emphasis on deepwater SCR pipe. Bevel Tech's machining process enables pipe bores to be centered accurately to the OD of each pipe end ensuring consistent wall thicknesses around the diameter of the pipe end and throughout the length of the bored area. This boring process is produced by means of an automatically fed machining attachment that produces a consistent bore and transition in one step, eliminating the possibilities of gouges and stress risers.
